Privacy Policy
Short version: we don't collect your data. Here's the longer version.
Last updated: March 20, 2026
Your lists stay on your device
Everything you enter into Any One Will Do — names, sessions, settings — is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device. We have no server, no database, and no way to see what's in your lists.
If you clear your browser data, your sessions are gone. That's intentional — your data belongs to you, and only you.
No cookies
We don't use cookies. Your theme preference (dark/light) is saved in local storage, not a cookie, and it stays on your device.
Analytics
We use two privacy-focused analytics tools — Plausible and Umami — to understand how the app is used in aggregate. Things like: how many people visited today, which features were used, and what type of device they were on.
Neither tool uses cookies, tracks you across sites, or collects any personally identifiable information. There are no user IDs, no fingerprinting, and no data sold to third parties.
You can read more about their approaches at plausible.io and umami.is.
No accounts, no sign-ups
Any One Will Do doesn't have accounts. There's no registration, no email address, no password, and nothing tied to you as an individual.
